The Department of Adult Medicine is directed by Western board-certified consultants in Adult Internal Medicine and Critical Care, and staffed with DHP-qualified physicians, registered nurses and allied health professionals, all focused on providing excellence and quality through multidisciplinary care.

Our adult medicine services are provided through comprehensive outpatient, urgent care, and inpatient services across the spectrum from health to complex illness, including the ongoing care of chronic illnesses, health promotion, and disease prevention.

Our Adult Internal Medicine service provides care for a wide range of medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes screening and treatment, obesity, pulmonary disease, thyroid conditions, infections, and kidney diseases.

Our Adult Critical Care service provides life-saving inpatient treatment in our adult intensive care unit which is staffed with physicians and nurses 24 hours a day and supported by a team of multidisciplinary physicians and allied health professionals.
