A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is quadruple-board certified by American Boards and Colleges in General Pediatrics, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Clinical Informatics, and Healthcare Management.
An elected member of the Society for Pediatric Research, he has received multiple awards from funding agencies and has authored/presented over 70 peer-reviewed scientific papers, book chapters, and research abstracts.
He serves as a faculty member for the Pediatric Academic Societies (USA), voting member of the Certifying Commission in Medical Management (USA), certified instructor mentor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (USA) and STABLE Program, associate editor of the journal Case Reports in Perinatal Medicine, and editorial board member of the Journal of Perinatal Medicine.
At The View Hospital, Dr Lee also serves as Associate Chief Medical Officer and Lead for Clinical Informatics and as Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar.
Previous to joining The View Hospital, he served in healthcare leadership and management positions in Qatar (Sidra Medicine) and the United States; of the awards received, he counts the Faculty Teacher of the Year award as one of the most cherished. He earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University (USA), Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins, and Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Emory University (USA), with clinical graduations from the Brown University pediatrics residency program (USA) and Emory University neonatology fellowship program (USA).
