The View Hospital reaches a major milestone with the installation of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit

Construction efforts on The View Hospital reached a major milestone with the installation of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit. The MRI is the first imaging modality to be installed in the hospital, bringing the project one step closer to completion. The scanner – Magnetom Vida from Siemens Healthineers features new BioMatrix technology that addresses patients’ anatomical and physiological differences as well as user variability.

The team at UCC Holding and elegancia healthcare completed a carefully coordinated effort to install the unit on August 12, 2022. Because of the weight of the machine, special construction techniques were used to prepare for the MRI installation. The unit was directly transported from Germany and required special reinforcement built into the floor to support heavy machinery.

The MRI installation marks a major milestone in The View Hospital delivery efforts.
