Admission Guide

Welcome to
The View Hospital

Everything You Need for a Seamless Hospital Admission.

Accommodation

The View Hospital provides a range of accommodation options, including VIP Suites, Executive Suites, and Private Rooms. All rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and feature modern amenities, such as an infotainment system, international direct-dial telephones, mini-bar, and multi-channel satellite television. Please inform the Admissions Officer of your preferred accommodation choice, which will be booked based on availability.

Meals

Patients can enjoy a wide variety of Arabic, Asian, and international cuisine from our meal service. Vegetarian options and special dietary requirements are also catered for. Patients’ meals are included in the room charge, while meals and refreshments for guests can be arranged at an additional cost.

On the Day of Admission

Most surgical patients are admitted on the morning of their scheduled procedure. However, certain conditions may require pre-operative preparations or anesthetic evaluations, necessitating admission a day earlier.

Upon arrival, please visit the Admissions Office, open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday through Thursday. On Fridays, elective admissions are generally not scheduled, and patients requiring admission will typically be managed as emergency cases through the Emergency Department. However, if an elective or planned admission is agreed upon in advance for a Friday, a dedicated admissions team will be available to assist and streamline the process.

Personal Items

The hospital provides essentials such as pajamas and dressing gowns. You may also bring your own comfortable clothing, slippers, and toiletries. Clothing should ideally be loose and front-opening. We strongly recommend leaving valuable items at home; however, complimentary safe deposit boxes are available upon request. For assistance, please contact the Nurse In-charge on your floor. Access to the safe deposit box is limited to hospital administration hours.

For Expectant Mothers

We recommend packing a hospital bag at least two weeks before your due date, including:

  • Two front-opening nightgowns
  • Two nursing bras
  • Baby vests, gowns, mittens, and wrapping blankets

Please also bring copies of both parents’ passport/visa pages and marriage certificate. These documents must be submitted to the Maternity or Postnatal Ward staff within 24 hours of delivery.

If your baby requires admission to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), please note that NICU charges are not included in standard maternity packages. For assistance, contact the billing department.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your admission appointment, kindly notify your doctor and the Admissions Office at least 24 hours in advance. Your cooperation helps us accommodate other patients’ needs and avoid cancellation penalties.
