The Emergency Department provides emergency care to the community twenty-four hours a day. It is directed by Western board-certified consultant emergency physicians and staffed with DHP-qualified physicians and registered nurses.
It provides evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages across various service areas, including triage, acute medical, procedural, resuscitation, gynecologic, bariatric, and isolation rooms. Low acuity and urgent care are available in the Outpatient Department during working hours and in the Emergency Department after hours and weekends. The Emergency Department strives to minimize wait times, with patients typically seen within 10-15 minutes.
