Dr. Baber Zaheer, a distinguished Consultant Anaesthesiologist, completed his Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Health Sciences, Pakistan. Dr. Baber completed his structured modular training in various sub-specialties of Anaesthesiology as defined by the Royal College of Anaesthetists UK and holds prestigious fellowships, including the Fellow of the College of Anaesthesiology Ireland (FCAI) and the Fellow of the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan in Anaesthesiology (FCPS). Additionally, he is a European Diplomate in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care (EDAIC), an Associate Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCOA) UK, and Member of Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association OAA.
With an impressive 18-year tenure in anaesthesiology in three different healthcare settings, he brings a wealth of experience and specialized knowledge to his work. Dr. Baber is confident and competent in perioperative management of elective and emergency surgical patients. His areas of special interest are Perioperative Medicine, Obstetric, and Paediatric Anaesthesia
Reflecting on his passion for education, Dr. Baber has been actively involved in teaching & training programs throughout his career and is GMC approved educational and clinical supervisor. He is member of Academy of Medical Educators in UK. His leadership skills are evident in his previous key roles within the NHS, where he has worked as a Clinical Lead for Paediatric Anaesthesia, Enhanced Care Unit ECU, and Divisional Lead for Operations Theatres.
