Brief Profile

Dr. Juan earned his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Universidad Central de Barcelona in June 1987 with highest honors. He was ranked number 250 over 23000 candidates in the national exam for resident medical practitioners (M.I.R.). in January 1988. Dr. Juan earned a Specialist's degree in Ophthalmology on January 1st, 1992, after being a Resident of the Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer from 1988 to 1992. Before becoming Chief of Residents of the Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer in year 1991, Dr. Juan completed various PhD Courses at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (U.A.B).

• Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology-Subspecialist in cataract and refractive surgery (FEBOS-CR) (2017).
