Before joining The View Hospital as a Hyperbaric specialist, she dedicated her focus to Hyperbaric Medicine, serving as a Practitioner Doctor at the esteemed Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center at the Military Hospital of Tunis. In this capacity, she provided specialized medical care to patients undergoing hyperbaric treatments. Dr. Ben Sassi instructed university students pursuing degrees in underwater and hyperbaric medicine and guided nursing students in specialty certificate programs. Additionally, she supervised graduation projects for paramedic students, contributing to the development of the next generation of healthcare providers.
Prior to her tenure in Hyperbaric Medicine, Dr. Ben Sassi demonstrated exemplary leadership and proficiency at the Military Hospital of Tunis, Tunisia, where she served in the Emergency Department from 2006 to 2012. . During this time, she held positions such as Emergency Coordinating Doctor and Practitioner, overseeing medical student supervision, bedside teaching, and academic presentations. Her contributions included developing protocols and procedures, conducting First Aid courses for military nursing students, and supervising nursing students' graduation projects.
