Dr. Sinan Al-Rubaye is a consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Advanced Endoscopist. He graduated from Baghdad University and completed his Gastroenterology training at renowned hospitals in England, including the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Dr. Sinan obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training (UK Board) in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from the Royal College of Physicians (London) and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. During his board training, he successfully completed two fellowships in advanced endoscopy and the management of complex liver disease, including pre and post liver transplantation. Additionally, he served as a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology Trainees Section Committee.
Dr. Sinan’s career has primarily been based at East Lancashire NHS Trust, a University Hospital and Tertiary Organization. He also had the privilege of working in other English hospitals, including North Middlesex University Hospital-London, North Bristol Hospital Trust, and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital-Birmingham. Alongside his clinical work, he served as the Head of the endoscopy department of the Digestive Disease Unit at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and chaired the Endoscopy User’s group.
Specializing in diagnostic and interventional endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, Endoscopic ultrasound, and ERCP, Dr. Sinan is a former trainer of advanced endoscopy to senior gastroenterology trainees and advanced clinical fellows. He brings extensive experience in managing complex gastrointestinal tract diseases, with a particular focus on complex liver and pancreatic pathology. Moreover, he is dedicated to addressing common gastroenterology pathologies and symptoms, including acid reflux, abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhea, change in bowel habits, celiac disease, and inflammatory bowel disease (Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease).
