General Surgery

The division of General Surgery at The View Hospital offers an integrated, patient-centered service covering both elective and emergency settings. The division is run by a team of highly qualified, dedicated surgeons who offer outpatient clinic consultations to manage a wide variety of general surgical diseases, including Endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery), breast surgery, skin and soft tissue surgery, upper and lower gastro-intestinal surgery including gastroesophageal reflux, diseases of the stomach, gallbladder, pancreas, and benign ano-rectal conditions like haemorrhoids, anal fissure, and fistula. We also offer upper and lower gastro-intestinal endoscopy service to investigate wide range of gastro-intestinal symptoms.

The surgical team is also trained to repair all types of abdominal wall hernias including reconstructive surgery to complex abdominal wall hernias.
