Cardiology

The View Hospital’s Cardiology Department covers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, cardiac imaging, investigation unit and day case services. The department also incudes state-of-the-art Catherization Labs and a Coronary Care Unit for patients who need continuous monitoring and support.

The department runs a variety of clinics catering for patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, abnormal heart rhythm, angina, inherited cardiac diseases, high blood pressure and abnormal cholesterol levels. General heart health check ups are also available for healthy asymptomatic individuals who want to be reassured about their general heart health.

The cardiac investigation unit has a wide variety of cardiac tests available including and not limited to, cardiac imaging with Echocardiography, wearable ECG monitor for ambulatory monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, Cardiac CT, exercise testing and more.

Two state-of-the-art catherization labs are available to provide care for patients who need coronary imaging and intervention. This is accompanied by state of the art coronary care unit to cater for these patients until they are safely discharged back home. These cath lab units also run day case service for patients who need more elective procedures for stable cardiac disease.
