Dr Khalid Abdulnoor Saifeldeen joined Elegancies Healthcare (EHC) in March 2022 as the Strategic Medical Planning Officer. Dr Saifeldeen is a highly experienced Qatari senior clinician and leader with nearly 30 years of diverse western and local experience. He completed his medical degree in Ireland followed by various qualifications in Emergency Medicine in the UK including the Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. He also holds master’s degree in healthcare management from Ireland.
In Qatar, he served as a healthcare leader at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and at national level too. He served as the Chief of Emergency Medicine and the Director of Hamad International Training centre. At national level, he served as the national lead for Emergency and Urgent Care Strategy and is currently the national lead for Healthcare Workforce Planning and Development for the Ministry of Public Health.
Over the years, he led the development and implementation of several services, innovations, and system transformation, including healthcare workforce capacity building. He is a strong advocate for system wide healthcare governance that is centred around patient safety and high-quality care.
In recent years, Dr Saifeldeen recognized his potential and expertise for contributing to the private healthcare sector in Qatar and he considers Elegancia Healthcare’s vision as perfectly aligned with his ambition to drive changes to the landscape of healthcare system in Qatar.
